Form Construction is a commercial contractor based in Cleveland specializing in commercial interior fit-outs, restaurant build-outs, and custom cabinetry. Since 2015, we’ve delivered projects on time, on budget, and built to the highest standard—not just in Northeast Ohio, but across the country.
Because we keep electricians, plumbers, and millwork specialists in-house, we eliminate the middleman and give clients more control, better communication, and fewer delays. Whether it’s a single restaurant renovation or a multi-location rollout, we bring the infrastructure of a larger company with the flexibility of a smaller crew—and we’ll travel wherever your project takes us.
How It Started
In 2015, James launched Form Construction with one van, a set of tools, and a belief that construction could be done better. After years delivering cabinetry and seeing too many jobs derailed by subcontractor delays, he set out to create a full-service general contractor that could handle everything under one roof.
The name Form comes from the architectural principle form follows function, inspired by Louis Sullivan’s belief that design should be as functional as it is beautiful. It’s a reminder that form matters—in craftsmanship, in communication, and in the relationships we build with our clients.
